My name is Nik Butler, and I am a professional kitchen and furniture painter based in Watford with over 30 years of experience.  I first started painting at the age of 15.  I was working part-time with my father, he is a professional decorator and it was during this time that I realised my passion for furniture painting. After leaving school I went to Harrow School of Art then onto Bucks College and finally completing a Furniture Design Degree at Middlesex University.

I work with both private clients and prestigious bespoke kitchen companies, including Mark Wilkinson Furniture, Smallbone of Devizes, Plain English, Diog and many more. These companies demand the finest craftsmanship, and I pride myself on achieving the very best hand-painted finishes possible with a brush.
